  • how to enable feedback; hail command?

    If I use a ThinkStick to monitor/control a z-wave network, how do I make a device send a hail command when it chnages state? I have searched and searched but only see a few references to the fact that in order to get feedback I have to set the device up to send a hail command when its state changes....

    I'm assuming that you are using the HA07 as your primary controller because you are referring to "channels." If this is correct, the reason for the long wait-times could be that the HA07 does NOT have the "discover neighbor" feature built in. So it takes a long time for the signal...

    I did. I'm running about twice as fast (half second to execute commands to nearby lights when it used to take one, 1-2 seconds when it used to take 3-4 to turn on/off far away lights on the edges of my network).
