Z-Wave Compact SDK and IDE compatibility?

I may be getting way ahead of myself here but I figured that I would ask.

I was trying to add the 'Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC SDK' to Visual Studio 2005 'Express' today and was sort of left with the impression that to develop pocket PC programs I will need to have at least the 'Standard' version of VS 2005 (the non free one).

That lead me to believe that the Z-Wave Compact SDK would also need, at least, the 'Standard Version' of VS 2005.

Can any one confirm or deny this?

    Thanks,

    Ken

Yessir. As I understand it, the Express (free) edition supports Windows programming, but does not support Windows Mobile at this time.

    Thanks for the info.

After using the free version of the Visual Studio 2005 .NET IDEs for a few months, I am not bothered about needing to pay for the standard version. As much as I dislike saying good things about Microsoft, this version of Visual Studio is well worth what they are asking for it. I'll add that to my collection of licensed IDEs. :)

They have a limited time trial version that will keep me busy until my boxed version arrives,

    On with the playing...
