Added my first Thermostat, works as specified

I just added a Wayne Dalton WDTC-20. As specified for the 2.3 build 4, was able to display temp and set temp ranges.

I am looking forward to being able to set tempature points based on calendar / time of day.

I did setup the WDTC-20 as an area and am able to turn the area on /off (normal / save) using event scheduling (mode temp range). This takes care of 80% of my requirment.

Keep up the good work on improving ThinkEssentials. When I can control temps based on time of day, then I will add more WDTC's for the remainder of zones in my home.

    George,

I'm kind of new with Z-wave and thinkessentials, but I've been looking into getting the WDTC-20 thermostat.  Can you change the temperature of the thermostat with the software and can you set up events to set temperatures at different times of the day?

     Thanks for your help.

     Franctel,

You can change the temperature on the thermostat from the software, by setting the setback points and activating that particular mode, be it Cool, Heat, Econ Cool, Econ Heat, etc.  You can also program the thermostat to toggle between economy and regular modes with events, which will allow you to set time when each temperature associated with those modes is activated.
