I am having a horrible problem with your software.  Please help.

I installed TE1.1 that came with the HA22 from Intermatic on a customer's XP computer.

-I downloaded and installed your new TE2.1(build22).

-I transferred the network & routing info from primary role in Z-Troller to TE.

-All 35 Intermatic and 1 Leviton device showed up in your software using the HA22 USB controller.

-I drew all the rooms from both floors and started naming nodes & dragging them to their respective physical locations on-screen.

THEN the software froze up and shut down!!!!  At this point, when I try to open the software....it gets hung up at "retrieving network info" forever-and-a-day.  I tried to "manually" set up the ports and tried it on com #1, #4 & #10 but gave up in frustration.  My customer is paying me by-the-hour and I'm NOT a computer tech.

 Does your software HATE the old HA22's from Intermatic or what?  I don't understand why it's working at my house (test house) but not here (both XP's)?  What can I do to use YOUR software (afterall, it came from Intermatic)?  I need to start-from-scratch now and provide a solution to my customer that you will stand-behind and support.  I obviously need step-by-step instructions from you because I tried re-creating the same scenario that is working at my house but I cannot find TE2.0 on your website then upgrade to TE2.1 and the #18build beta that I know worked.

The production release for ThinkEssentials 2.1 is at:
http://www.controlthink.com/downloads/thinkessentials/setup.exe

You'll want to make sure that you remove the manual update files first so that 2.1 successfully installs.

Also, I assume you tried this--but have you restarted the computer?  "Retreiving network configuration... forever" generally means that the Z-Wave adapater is in use and we're waiting perpetually to connect to it to get its info...

Yes, I restarted the machine multiple times.  As well as un-installing and re-installing a few times.  The software would not recognize the adapter or connect after it froze and shut down the first time.  I was totally disabled after that.  What happened?

 I'm not sure I understand what you mean by, "remove the manual update files first so that 2.1 successfully installs."  Can you please tell me the name/names of the files that I am supposed to remove.  Directing me to their location would help too.

You mentioned that you installed 2.1.1 beta (build 22).  Just remove the files that you installed there, and you'll be good to install the 2.1 production release.

I'm assuming you mean to delete the folders & files in the ControlThink folder in Program Files on my c drive (the default location).
