We are working on a new "single sign-in" system for our website, which will let you control your home remotely and access the forums with the same user account, as well as look up order status, etc.
As part of this transition, you may be e-mailed a link to click on and verify your account. This is a security precaution necessary for some or all of our users to move into the new authentication system. We want to make sure you are really you :)
INSTRUCTIONS: click the "Edit Profile" link in the top-right corner of the screen (between your name and "Sign Out"), click on the "Email" tab, and then verify the "Private Email" address. If it's current, you're good to go. If not, change it and press "Save." That's it.
Once this process is complete, you will likely be logging in with your e-mail address and password rather than your forums alias and password; however, your posts will still use your forums alias (as will comments on potential blog entries, etc.)
