What controller is a good controller to use for setting up my system? I presume that it will be one that is compatible with this installer tool remote back up/restore. i also presume that it is one that will be able to hand master control back and forth between TE and it. My system is on a desktop and it is not convienient to move the thinkstick to within 3' of a device for joining or updating. I'd like a hand controller that can do this. I have one of the original Vizia RF controller, but do not think it is compatible with 2 way master swapping and back-up/restore. Is the newer Vizia RF+ remote the one for me? Are there others I should consider? Thanks, pete

 The only remote that supports the Installer Tools backup/restore and Remote Sync features in TE is the Vizia RF+ remote.  I'd advise you use that for your application.

I have purchased this controller. When I select "Transfer Primary Roll to another controller" in TE (2.5 build 2), and "Get Primary Data">"Setup Data" on the controller, nothing seems to happen after TE pops up a box saying that it is transferring primary role to another controller and the controller just says: "Get Data On source Primary set Send mode and press 1 On" After a little bit, TE pops up a dialog that says: "I'm sorry, but the operation was unsuccessful. Please try again." What am I doing wrong, how to I transfer primary roler from TE to the Vizia RF+ controller? Thanks, Pete

make sure you have your VRCPG included in the network first.

Do the Transfer Primary Roll to another controller from TE and put your VRCPG into the update mode.
