This post will tell you a little bit about the new Profile syncing feature in ThinkEssentials, and how you can use it to your advantage.  Please post any questions, comments, or concerns in this thread, and I will address them.

If you have a Vizia RF+ remote, you can now right click on its icon in ThinkEssentials, and select the new "View/Edit Profiles" option.  This will allow you to view profiles that you've sync'ed over from the remote, as well as to create new profiles to sync to the remote.  This will make it easier to set up the actions performed in response to button presses on the remote.

Matt, How you you actually initiate the sync to the remote? I configured an area and a profile and set button one to turn the area on/off, but I don't see a way to send this into to the remote or a way to pull it from the remote... Help! Thanks, Kenneth

To sync this to the remote, you need to use the "Remote Sync" feature in the settings page.  There is a wizard that will guide you through the process once you initiate it.

Is this one of those Pro version only features? I swear I double checked the settings tab...

Figures. How much is the upgrade to Pro?

Still would like to know the price and how to go about ordering the upgrade...

  Any word on when I could purchase an upgrade from Standard to Pro? I've been waiting for like a month now and still don't see it on ASIHome or maybe you could just give me a free upgrade for my patience? :)

Hmmmm.....  so its been a year that CT has been "trying to work it out with ASIHome"???  I spoke to ASIHome, and they say they have been unable to get CT to get an upgrade offer in place.  Hmmmm....

The January 2008 archive of controlthink.com lists the upgrade to Pro as $49.95. Not sure if it's been a full year, but probably about that long... they switched to ASIHome over Google Checkout some time ago. http://web.archive.org/web/20080106160202rn_1/www.controlthink.com/thinkessentials/

I understand the frustration and while there is no offical "upgrade" available at the moment from Leviton, we are now offering a Software Only option on the PRO.
