 Thanks for pointing that out and definitely let me know of any other Thermostat related issues once Apple approves the update.

 I have updated Zwave Commander PC Server to support the new SDK 1.3.0.23 as well as added code to support Bonjou/ZeroConfig.

What is Bonjour? Bonjour is Apple's technology for discovering devices on your network. One of the biggest headaches with Zwave Commadner is a lot of users don't understand IP Addresses or how to figure their's out. Well with Bonjour it lets the iPhone or iPod know how to "find" your PC running Intelliremote.

Bonjour is already on your machine if you have Itunes installed or just Bonjour For Windows it will be able to autodiscover the Zwave Commander server on your WIFI network. That way if you switch from say your College Dorm to Home you won't have to go in and change your Settings. Same if you use DHCP and your PC constantly changes IP addresses every time you reboot your machine. Just leave the setting on the default 192.168.1.100 and it will assume you want to try and autodiscover your PC running Zwave Commander.

 Zwave commander 2.2 has been relessed to the AppStore...

- the slider goes from 0-100% instead of 1-99%
- the slider and the level button is grayed out if a binary switch is chosen (binary means on/off switch without dimmer capability)
- when the level slider is moved it automatically sends the Level command to set the device at that level so you get instant feedback

- Added HTTP controllable commands to Server EXE so you can control from any mobile device or PC HTTP GET API

Zwave Commander has added Growl support to our Server Side EXE.

What is Growl?

Growl lets Mac OS X and Windows applications unintrusively tell you when things happen.   I started using it and now I am hooked.  I have Zwave Commander notify all of my other Macs and PCS whenever a device is turn on and when Sunrise and Sunset occur.  That way no matter which PC I am working on I get notified of events.  I also use it for Thunderbird and Firefox for new emails and downloads complete etc.  Growl rocks!
