Added HA07 to CA5500R and ThinkEssentials shows Red Question Mark

Added HA07 to CA5500R and ThinkEssentials shows Red Question Mark on the icon that I'm guessing is the HA07.

Is there anything to do about this?  Is there any functionality for the HA07 in ThinkEssentials, at this time.

Do I just ignore it, and leave it at the bottom of the screen?

    AFTerry,

Does the icon look like a remote control?  Is this with 2.0 or 2.1 beta?

    Thanks, Chris

But it doesn't matter (2.0 by the way).  I went ahead and wiped out my entire network, and am going to start from scratch.

You could answer another question, though;  What happens when you hold down the home key?  Maybe it's in the manual somewhere, like in the section on the In Wall Controller that I didn't read (Guess I will).

I held it down for a while and it flashed until it reset my network, accepting "Primary Status" from TE.  Is that it's function?

    AFTerry,

You'll need to refer to the InTouch User's Manual to determine what the different buttons do.  I think it may just "deselect" all the currently-selected buttons.

OK, you got me.  I missed the section on page 13, "Linking an Additional Base and Hand-Held to the Network.  I skimed it, and missed that if you hold (for 4+ seconds) the <HOME> button on the new Hand-Held it will link with the Network. (More steps of course, but irrelevant to this discussion).

"The <HOME> button has special uses explained in this guide."

It refers to the HOME button to select additional scenes, by pressing once, and deselect a group of scenes by again pressing it.

THEN the manual goes into a great deal of discussion on the InTouch In Wall Master Controller, never to return to the CB5500R Hand Held Controller.

That is until the Troubleshooting section: "Press the <HOME> button to wake the Hand-Held (if it has gone to sleep while setting up a scene).

But I am correct in that it never goes into any discussion of Primary and Secondary controllers, HAwhatevers, TE, GE, gewiz.

Thanks for directing me back to the source.  The answer WAS there.
