    License Manager Not Workiing

    Help...

I can't get the License Manager to accept the key code on the back of my CD for ThinkEssentials.

I'm using version 2.0 build 200, and it works - when I first installed the earlier version it accepted my code.  So, somewhere on the computer it must be kept.

The problem is that I am attempting to use MLLobby's plug-in MLZwave and it is licensed bound to ThinkEssentials and runs the License Manager to assure that I have a valid key.  When I type in my CDKey the "ACTIVATE" button remains grey and un-clickable.

     Can you help?

Also, should I just upgrade to the ThinkStick AND the software?  Or, just the ThinkStick?  Do you have an upgrade price?  I'm not a developer - just a lowly end-user, so I don't think PRO is for me...?

    Thanks

The software you are using requires a Z-Wave PC SDK license, not a ThinkEssentials license.  Did you order ThinkEssentials instead?

If you upgrade to the ThinkStick and send me your order #, I'll make sure you get a license to run the Z-Wave portion of the software with it...

I sent you an email with the order number.

I was thinking about ordering the upgrade to the Professional version of the software, but the price changed from $49.95 to $54 when I clicked on order.  What's up with that?

Also, instead of calling it a ThinkStick on the order form, it calls it "The ControlThink Z-Wave USB".  I'm assuming they'll get it right.

I wish it were a lot clearer about the difference of the USB stick I ordered and it not having the necessary license.  But, I'm just complaining about spending more money for what I thought I was buying.  I'll get over it.

    AFTerry,

I received your e-mail, and sent you a license key for the Z-Wave PC SDK runtime.

    A few quick notes:

    • The $5 added during checkout is the $4.95 S&H; we actually ship you an upgrade CD.
    • Thanks for the note on the Google Checkout description.  I think they have a generic description for the item; we'll put in a request to change that...

Does that take care of what you're looking for?

Thank you very much for your business,

    Chris

    Yes, you've helped tremendously.

     AND very quickly.

One more thing, I'm having a few "bug" issues, where do I report/search them?
