    Background mode

I try to run TE with /backgroung option, and it starts as expected, with an icon in system tray, but when I close the application it quits entirely, the icon is gone too. Once in a while is stays there, but only until next PC reboot, after which it doesn't work again. What's wrong there?

    Hi 325xi,

The background option is there for the software to start itself up when there are schedules that need to be run...

If you close the program, it will shut down unless there are schedules left to run.  Right-clicking on the system tray icon and selecting Exit will shut it down completely.

Would it make sense to create an option that would let you keep the icon in the system tray no matter what?

Right, all my schedules were temporary disabled (but not removed).

I think TE should stay on background if there are any schedules, even if they are disabled - so I can enable them any time.

I'm putting in a request for a "leave icon in system tray all the time" feature...  We're doing quite a bit of remodeling in v2.2, so this may fit in nicely...
