I see from the release notes that there are new icons for ViziaRF devices in 2.1 beta build 1.  I launched it today (and checked the About box to make sure I did indeed have build 1 running.  I didn't.  Killed thinkessentials.exe and relaunched.  Now I have build 1 running).

 My network is mostly ViziaRF devices.  But the icons look unchange.  Do I have to do anything special for ThinkEssentials to realize these are ViziaRF devices?  I tried updating the ThinkStick from my primary remote.  That didn't appear to change anything.

 A related question: I notice a new greyed-out "Properties" option on the right-click context menu on my devices.  It's always greyed out on all of my devices.  I'm hoping that the ViziaRF 4 scene and 4-zone controllers will be manipulable from these menues eventually.  However, as of now, nothing seems to have properties that are manipulable.  Are there any devices that I should expect to be able to manipulate this way?

We grayed out the "properties" option in this build.  It'll be enabled in the next build (within a week).  You'll also see some new "modify scenes/zones..." options soon.

Regarding the icons, they were there before but only worked for specific generations of Vizia RF devices.  We've added support for the rest of the generations, but you may have had the ones we supported--so you'd notice no difference.  That said, if you had question marks on your zone/scene controllers before, they should be gone now--is that correct?

My portable controller wasn't on the screen at all before, as far as I can recall.  I just found the icon for it (an RZCPG) way off the screen.  This has bit me before with new devices in ThinkEssentials.  They appear on the floor plan, but off screen (_WAY_ off screen on most cases) and no scroll bars appear.  I have to make the thinkessentials window very big to find them.

 So my portable controller now appears and with an icon I hadn't seen before.

 My switches (RZI10s, etc.) just appear as dimmable light bulbs, as before.

 My 4-zone controller isn't actually in my network right now, mainly because it was so miserable to configure it.

 So maybe I am seeing the new icons.

We see the "icon appears underneath the flyout tabs" issue from time to time.  We have a remedy for that coming, although I'm not sure if it'll be in 2.1 or 2.2.

If you're interested in adding your 4-button controller back to the network, we'd love to have you test out the scene/zone setup on it soon when we've enabled that feature...  In the meantime, it would be interesting to know if the icon shows up properly for you.

I re-added my RZCZ4 to the network.  It shows up in thinkessentials after an update from the primary controller.  The icon was initially a plug.  After a few seconds it changed to an icon very similar to my RZCPG.

Excellent.  Alright, give us a few days and we'll have you test out setting up zones on it...
