Z-Wave PC SDK license without the ThinkStick

    Hi,

I just bought my first Z-wave stuff here in The Netherlands (europe). these use the 868.42MHz ofcourse so the ThinkStick has no use with it.
Is is possibkle to buy a PC SDK License without the ThinkStick? Or does is come in a package?

    Thanks,

    Seb

    Hi Seb,

We offer it both ways--but the ThinkStick is a free bonus in the kit so it's the same price either way...

So does this mean the SDK works with e.g this European controller?

From what I understand from a review I read at zwaveworld the other controllers use a driver that maps the device to a COM port while your stick is a HID device? Is your SDK created in a way that makes this transparent and you can map it to a COM port? I'd be interested in buying the kit then even if I cant use the stick (would be awesome if you could come with a European version).
