The ControlThink Z-Wave USB Adapter currently ships with Z-Wave v4.22 "installer" firmware.

Today, we have the first update available: Z-Wave v4.25.

What's new in Z-Wave v4.25 (since v4.22):

• New Z-Wave "Silent Acknowledgment" improves relay speed by almost 2x (when routing through devices with this feature)
• Improved reverse-routing reliability when responding to incoming requests
• Network rediscovery tweak (for optimize and repair network feature)
• Misc. Z-Wave bug fixes

The file includes the Z-Wave v4.25 (installer) firmware update.  This is a highly-recommended update for all ThinkStick owners.

Can you guys who are doing the firmware upgrade try and Join an existing network and run the Disaster recovery? I tried this and I am having lots of problems.

Trouble connecting and will not "join existing network". Having lots of trouble connecting to the Stick with Thinkessentials(Pro), re-plugging helped once or twice, but lots of problems there. When trying to join another network and download, the Stick/software would not "see" the stick. Re-flashed the stick with the 4.25 updater, and it said the firmware was corrupted or missing, but re-flashed OK according to the Updater.

That's exactly what I am experiencing as well.

Okay, the update is live, and it will automatically upgrade your current installation.

You will want to reflash any ThinkSticks you flashed with the old tool; this new build should flash them properly.

All better now:) re-flashed the Stick and seems to be working fine now. Tried an "optimize" and "join network", worked OK. Operation seems normal on everything else.

It's still not working for me. :(

What are the differences in versions?

Enhanced routing speed with Z-Wave v4.25+ devices is the big one.  The traffic during routing is cut down almost in half--which means that everything just happens "faster."
