Does this run on Linux via Wine?

Hi - Has this software and USB device been run in Wine before?  I am interested in just his kind of solution, but my home server runs Ubuntu Linux.  I think most software works well enough in Wine, but I would wonder about the USB dongle being usable.

    Bluetone,

We haven't tested it on Wine under Linux--but if you do order it and test it out please let us know how it works...

It's too bad my only linux PC right now is an EEE, and due to the limited resolution WINE does not run well on it.

However, wine is compatible (gold rating) with the .NET Framework 2.0, so I'd be inclined to say that there is a very good chance that it will work.

I just gave it a shot and it didn't run - even after some basic tinkering.  I have never used Wine, let alone tried to get a .Net app running with it.  Anyone else want to take a stab?

Depending on how your code is written (I'm assuming .Net as it was mentioned) it could possibly be cross compiled using the Mono C# Compiler for Linux (open source).  If you'd like to take a look at this, I'd be happy to assist.

I hope that the controlthink folks take you up on it. It would be great to be able to run their product on a stable open source solution like linux.  It might even be possible to run it on the new CherryPal ( http://tinyurl.com/5vtwsd ).
