HA06 - blink while idle problem

I recently installed an HA06 in my bedroom to dim in ceiling lights (3x 60W)

The issue is that while the light is off, the led seems to blink as though it recieved a command (about 4-6 blinks - havent counted) once every minute or two.  This is annoying at night when you're trying to sleep.  Is this a known issue (could it be a bad ground?) - how do I make it behave?

So far, I've only taken it out of the package, wired it up and added it to my HA09 handy controller.  I associated it with 2 of the buttons on this controller.  The controller is primary and also talks to a HA03 dimmer module.  It is cloned to the secondary SDK and a hawking remote gateway, but I haven't re-cloned the SDK or gateway, so they shouldn't know about this module, right?

I have another HA06, connected to my (crappy uncompatible) Harmony 890 remote, and it doesn't seem to do this blinking thing for no reason.

    mrk874,

Something in your system is talking to the device :)  I'd try disconnecting power to each of the controllers in your network until you figure out which one it is...

It could also be picking up on "broadcast" status messages.

BTW, I'm not sure--but do the newer HA14/HA18/HA20 devices blink when they're polled like the HA06s did?

Are you running ThinkEssentials? It polls every device on the z-wave dongle's network every minute or so.  For a while I was really confused; I was sitting at my comptuer and every so often I saw a blinking green light in the corner of my eye.  It took me a while to figure out that the plug-in module was in fact blinking and why, but at least I'm not crazy! Chris,

The LED's on the new HA14, HA18, and HA20 wall switches will not blink when polled like the HA06's currently do.

However, they should still blink if you were to send them "SET" commands.
