Can ThinkEssentials (TE) be extended by a program that utilizes the SDK, like supporting a plug-in protocol? First phase would seem to be getting TE to call my routine or executable during one of its events.

We're working on that for a future release. We have two steps to get there, and will hopefully have the first of the two steps ready in the next few months...
