    Another Switch question

I've been reading problems with ACT switches, but am compelled to use them for my following setup.

First; can I do this with the ACT HomePro switches?

Second; how would I do it using other manufacurers h/w?

I have a downstairs light, an upstairs light and an upstairs hallway light.
Each have a switch. One tap would control the local light. For the downstairs switch; two taps would turn on/off both up and downstairs. Three taps would only turn off both upstairs lights.
Upstairs double tap the switch would turn both up and downstairs on/off, Triple taps would turn on/off both upstairs lights.
In the hallway; double tap would turn on/off both upstairs lights and triple tap would turn off the stair lights only...

    Can I do this?

    Have Fun, Chris.

    Re: Another Switch question

I have had bad luck with my act switches.  I replaced most of them.  You can set up associations but I believe a double tap will turn on and off the lights you associated that switch with.  I don't think you can associate on and off commands differently.
