kkarhi,
Please try clicking on the device a few times to see if there's a weak link somewhere in the system. If it had the red circle/slash and/or the question mark, that means there are communication issues and the timer is probably unrelated.

jmlestrange,
From your previous post, it looks like there's an overflow (math glitch with a number that's too big) somewhere which is causing this. We're trying to hunt it down, and hopefully we can take care of it for you in an upcoming 2.1 beta release...

If not, and if you were to send me an instrumented version of TE, I could run it and send you any data files it created.

Thanks, kkarhi; we may take you up on that...
The issue doesn't seem to affect many users, so we're looking at a number of possibilities--including certain lat/lon coordinates.

jmlestrange,
The floorplans and other settings are saved in the "common app data" folder.
On Vista, look under "C:\ProgramData\ControlThink\ThinkEssentials". On XP, look under "\documents and settings\all users\application data\controlthink\thinkessentials" (I think--or something very close to that).

Salthi,
Could you please do the following?
-
Download the ThinkEssentials 2.1 beta (build 1) and validate that the bug you're seeing still exists.
-
PM me verifying #1, along with the date you were trying to set the sunrise/sunset and the exactly location used in the software.
Thanks!

We're trying, but it's working 100% of the time here for us. We're going to build in some hooks to "trace" what's going on in your machine and go from there...
